We are optimistic that our society and the world's problems can be solved, but we realize that it will entail hard work. Sitting alone, avoiding action, feeling as if one has the answer, yet not sharing or working with others leads only to bitterness and frustration. While the FreeThought Society exists primarily to provide opportunities for Humanists and Free Thinkers to socialize, the desire to speak out or work towards improving society is never discouraged.
