In America we are truly fortunate that our founding fathers foresaw the dangers of a state-sponsored religion. Unfortunately, the wall between church and state is under serious attack by those who would establish strong ties between government and religion. If we are a nation that promotes religious freedom, we must protect those who wish not to practice any, from an overzealous majority that sees no harm in institutionalizing theirs. < BACK
